Counselling

Counselling – generally short term, and designed to focus on a specific problem. These may include stress, panic attacks, phobias, eating disorders, anger and communication problems. Typically a course of treatment might involve around eight sessions. A review then takes place to assess the original goals and see what change has taken place. The client may feel they have achieved their aim and end or decide to do further work, either to develop the original goals or work on new ones.
